Savoury cakes are little-known in some parts of the world but the French bake them all the time. Cakes salés are très chic. Paired with a simple salad, they make a trendy, light lunch while the savoury tart is a staple of city cafes and country homes. These cakes are also sold at posh Parisian bakeries and brasseries.

Jean-Michel Fraisse will feature Cheese & Olive cake, Smoked Salmon & Asparagus, Wild Mushroom Tart,Bacon, Broccoli & Potato Tart and Ratatouille savoury cake.

A café gourmand is the heavenly alliance of coffee and sweets - a cup of coffee surrounded by little sweet teasers. It’s great for the indecisive – no need to make a choice! Its pleasing mix of colours, shapes and sizes make it a feast for the eyes. The idea is genius and thoroughly Parisian. Chef Jean-Michel Fraisse presents his selection of  Walnuts Meringue, Nutella Truffles, Congolais, Old-fashioned Macaron, Hazelnut Soft Caramel and Almond Biscotti Thins in this class.
